People contact you directly
ConnectBoard only displays listings and contact information. It does not negotiate, hire, verify, collect payment, or arrange meetings.
Confirm everything privately
Before agreeing, confirm identity, price or pay, timing, location, scope, delivery, refund terms, and any legal or safety requirements.
Report unsafe listings
Report anything fake, illegal, discriminatory, exploitative, suspicious, or unsafe. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local authorities.
For service providers and sellers
Describe exactly what you offer, what is included, what is not included, your price or price range, delivery timing, location, and any limits. Only offer services or products you are legally allowed and able to provide.
For job and gig posters
Be honest about pay, hours, duties, location, deadlines, required skills, and whether the work is remote or in person. Do not post misleading jobs, unpaid work disguised as paid work, unsafe work, or roles that avoid legal responsibilities.
For applicants and buyers
Verify the person or organization before sending money, documents, or sensitive information. Ask for details in writing. Do not continue if a poster refuses basic information or pressures you to act immediately.
For announcements
Announcements should be accurate, relevant, and community-safe. Do not post rumors as facts, private personal information, harassment, emergency misinformation, or content that could put someone at risk.

ConnectBoard does not employ users, verify identities, inspect services, guarantee jobs, process payments, hold deposits, provide escrow, provide insurance, resolve private disputes, or guarantee that a listing is true.
