This is the ConnectBoard Terms & Legal Notice for users creating an account.
1. Introduction
ConnectBoard is a public listings board for services, products, jobs,
gigs, internships, and local announcements in North Cyprus. ConnectBoard
helps users publish and discover listings, but it does not become part
of any private agreement made between users.
2. Accepting these terms
By creating an account, posting a listing, contacting another user, or
using ConnectBoard, you agree to follow these terms, the posting rules,
and all applicable laws. If you do not accept these terms, do not create
an account or use the platform.
3. Platform role
ConnectBoard does not verify identities, inspect services, employ users,
recruit applicants, process payments, hold deposits, provide escrow,
provide insurance, guarantee listings, or resolve private disputes.
All transactions, meetings, payments, work terms, refunds, and agreements
happen privately between users.
4. User responsibility
You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of anything you post.
You are also responsible for checking people before meeting, paying,
hiring, accepting work, sharing documents, or agreeing to any service,
sale, job, gig, rental, delivery, or announcement.
5. Prohibited content
You may not post illegal goods or services, fake jobs, scams, hate speech,
harassment, adult or exploitative content, dangerous activities, misleading
offers, requests for passwords or one-time codes, or content that violates
another person's rights.
6. Safety and payments
Be careful with deposits, advance payments, private meetings, documents,
passwords, bank details, and identity information. If an offer feels
suspicious, pressured, secretive, or too good to be true, stop and report it.
7. Moderation
ConnectBoard may review, edit, hide, reject, remove, flag, or restrict
listings and accounts at its discretion, especially where content appears
unsafe, unlawful, misleading, spammy, abusive, or harmful to students or
the community.
8. Limitation of responsibility
To the fullest extent allowed by law, ConnectBoard is not responsible for
losses, damages, injuries, disputes, unpaid work, failed services, inaccurate
listings, private meetings, user conduct, or agreements made outside the
platform.
